1. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, including name, phone number, email if provided, ZIP code, service address, city, preferred language, requested service, service details, photos, messages, preferred visit time, contact preference, confirmations, signatures, payment references, and support communications.
We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device data, page views, referring pages, timestamps, cookies or similar identifiers, language settings, and basic analytics events.
Payment card details are generally processed by payment providers such as Stripe. OnSite Masters may receive payment metadata, transaction IDs, invoice references, payout status, dispute status, and related records, but does not need to store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and manage service requests, run AI intake, show service options, match requests with local pros, allow customers and pros to communicate, send chat links or service-related messages, process OS Pay transactions, maintain request history, support dispute evidence, improve safety, prevent fraud, provide support, analyze site performance, and comply with legal/accounting obligations.
3. How we share information
We may share request details with the pro, owner, team, worker, market partner, or service provider who needs the information to review, accept, quote, contact, schedule, perform, or support the request.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, Odoo, payment processors, communication tools, analytics providers, security tools, and professional advisors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud, or during a business transfer.
4. Photos, chat, and proof records
Photos, chat messages, service summaries, before/after evidence, confirmations, timestamps, payment records, and related request history may be stored to support service coordination, customer/pro communication, quality control, disputes, chargebacks, refunds, accounting, taxes, and record keeping.
5. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, similar technologies, and analytics tools to understand site traffic, language choices, service interest, AI funnel performance, and technical issues. You can control some cookies through your browser settings. Analytics settings may change as the site grows.
6. SMS, calls, and service communications
When you submit a request, choose a contact option, or ask a pro to contact you, we and/or the matched pro may contact you about that specific request by call, text, chat link, email, or similar service-related communication. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP when available or by contacting us.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, request history, dispute resolution, chargeback evidence, fraud prevention, security, accounting, tax, legal, and business purposes. We may delete, de-identify, archive, or restrict data when it is no longer needed.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No website, hosting environment, payment flow, chat, or communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. California and U.S. privacy rights
Depending on where you live and how the law applies to OnSite Masters, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain personal information. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws. We do not intend to sell personal information for money. If future advertising or analytics features are considered “sharing” under applicable law, we will update this policy and provide required choices.
10. Children
The site is not intended for children under 13. Do not submit information for a child or about a child unless you are authorized and it is necessary for a service request.
